Spoons In 2020

Sixteen members assembled for our first Spoons event of our disrupted 2020 season.

We welcomed new members Barbara Carr and Janni Coates who are new to bowling and Angie and Steve Issac who joined us from another club.

It was good to see Peter Watkins on the green for the first time this year.

Many thanks were expressed to both Jeanie and Kevin for having organised the evening with all in attendance giving a round of applause.

The teams had been randomly selected, with a little fine adjustments.

Everyone put in good performances and after a review of the rules on Saturday Peter Borsberry with Brian Duddy were declared the winners with Derek Gillespie and Keith Lawrance just three shots adrift in second place.

A most enjoyable time was had by all, and everyone expressed their interest in playing next week.
