Shielding Ends

On 1st August, those under instruction to shield themselves by remaining in their homes, were advised that they could now venture out , albeit taking appropriate precautions with social distancing and face coverings.

Straight away, our Chairperson Sally and Norman got down on the green and immediately demonstrated that they hadn‘t forgotten a thing.

They expect to be down more frequently but don’t expect to see them socialising too much if we have a full house on the patio. After so many weeks in a state of shielding, they aren’t going to ruin it all by mixing with those of us who are less cautious.

Stay safe everybody and remember, it hasn’t gone away yet.
