Barrie can't keep away from the Hedges

As ever at this time of the year, the hedges grow quickly and now that the majority of birds have flown the nest, and the Council have been tidying the area around our green, Barrie gets busy.

Here we see him having a go at the hedge beside the double gates.

The previous day he did the hedge by the river and, thanks to Kyle from the council, the few parts hard to reach from the green side of the hedge were quickly dealt with.

This morning, Barrie started on the hedge by the flag pole and Maurice popped down to help tidy the cuttings away. Peter B and Kevin will have to pop down and have a hack at the remaining hedges eh?

Maurice also used the time to put extra water on the parts of the green looking less green than we might expect at this time of year. Lets hope lock down eases and our members can pop down and enjoy the great setting the Club is fortunate enough to have.
