The late May Bank Holiday Sunday saw 20 members take part in the Yardstick Competition. Playing to the format newly established last year, the goal was (as usual) to get all your 4 woods within 1 yard of the jack. The players were organised into 3 pools of 6, 6 and 8 and everyone played 5 games of 6 ends each.
The pools were split into a 6 Lady pool, a 6 “skips” Men’s pool and only the 8 man pool was based on a draw.

Congratulations go to Angelica Crisa for winning the Ladies trophy and to Joan Edwards for being Ladies' runner-up.
The Men’s competition was won by Barrie Davies who narrowly beat Dave Wilson. They played each other in their last game of their pool and Barrie clawed his way back to being level on points on the last end. Because he won that end 3 shots to Dave's 1, he just pipped Dave to beat him on the number of ends won over the day.
The tables for all players are shown below along with a few photos of the day.
