Captain Andy back in action

Tuesday 9th June was a “hosted” day at the Club and we had a full morning and afternoon’s bowling with good weather, much warmer than expected.

Most pleasing was to see Captain Andy coming along for a roll up against Rod.

As well as Andy & Rod, who played in the afternoon, Bill Mundy played Nigel and John de Tisi played Doug.

Simon played Angelica and in the afternoon, Peter B play Kevin and Jeanie gave another lesson to Barbara Carr who has made the challenging switch from social member to player and she’s making a good job of it too.

At 5:00pm, two new members joined the Club and had their first bowl of the season. Steve and Angie Isaac have joined us from Maidenhead Thicket bowls club and are welcome addition bringing many years of bowling experience.
